The Long Raw Carnelian Necklace stands out for its exceptional length and the contrast between the irregular texture of natural carnelian and the delicate line of matte red Miyuki beads.

The raw carnelian is arranged in separate groups along the necklace, following a balanced, symmetrical composition. This creates rhythm and movement while leaving enough space around the stones for each group to retain its presence without overwhelming the design.

The unpolished character of the carnelian brings texture and depth, with natural variations in shape and warm reddish-orange tones. The tiny Miyuki beads extend the rich colour throughout the necklace, creating a continuous visual thread that gives the piece its clean, contemporary character.

At 100 cm long, the necklace creates an elongated, graphic silhouette and moves beautifully with the body. Despite its dramatic length, its delicate construction keeps it lightweight and comfortable, making it an easy piece to wear when you want colour and presence without heaviness.

Care & Maintenance

Every Kimya piece is handcrafted with care and designed to be enjoyed for many years.

To preserve its beauty, avoid prolonged contact with perfumes, creams and household chemicals. When you’re not wearing your jewellery, store it in a dry place, preferably in its box or a soft pouch.

Sterling silver naturally develops a patina over time. This is a natural characteristic of the metal and part of its beauty. If you prefer to restore its original shine, gently clean your jewellery with a soft toothbrush using warm water, a little washing-up liquid and a drop of household ammonia. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry with a soft cloth.

Oxidized silver finishes may gradually soften over time, particularly on rings, bracelets and other pieces that are in frequent contact with the skin. This is a natural characteristic of oxidized silver and part of the way the piece evolves with wear.

As part of my commitment to every piece I create, I offer a complimentary maintenance service for all Kimya jewellery. Whenever needed, I will professionally clean, polish or re-oxidize your jewellery to help restore its original finish and beauty. You only need to cover the shipping costs. This service does not include repairs resulting from accidental damage, misuse or structural damage.

Please note: The cleaning method described above is suitable only for solid sterling silver jewellery. For pieces featuring pearls, coral, wood, textiles, delicate gemstones or other sensitive materials, please get in touch before cleaning, and I’ll be happy to advise you on the safest method.
